Help Assemble Narcan Kits

Join us on Saturday, February 15th at 10 am in Room 115 as we partner with Georgia Overdose Prevention to assemble Narcan kits that will be distributed throughout Georgia. These kits are crucial in reversing narcotic overdoses, and more than 11,000 lives have already been saved in Georgia because of them! Let’s work together to make even more of these lifesaving kits available across our state!

So, it’s time for Georgia to have a conversation with diverse voices to seek solutions to the fentanyl epidemic together.

Join the Georgia Council for Recovery and the North Atlanta Recovery Ministry on Monday, November 18th at 6 pm in Room 115 for a community conversation about the fentanyl epidemic.

Our annual One Heart giving initiative begins Sunday, November 17th and will last through the end of the year. This year, our goal is $250,000! Naloxone can reverse a narcotic overdose in an emergency, and to date, 11,824 lives have been saved in our state alone by these kits. North Atlanta Coat Drive

Join us in helping members of our community to stay warm this winter by participating in our annual North Atlanta Coat Drive! We are collecting gently used coats for men, women, and children. Please donate coats in one of the collection bins around our building on Sunday mornings or place them in the bin outside of the church office between 9 am and 4 pm each weekday. You may also order coats through Amazon, Walmart, or Target and ship them to the church office (North Atlanta Church of Christ, Attn: Jasmine Turner, 5676 Roberts Dr, Dunwoody, GA 30338). The deadline to donate coats is Sunday, December 1st.

Please join us via Zoom for an important Suicide Prevention Training session on Thursday evening, June 27th from 7 to 8:30 pm! This training will help to increase your awareness of the warning signs, clues, and suicidal communications of people who may be considering suicide, and you will also learn how to intervene with at-risk individuals. The fundamentals of suicide prevention are easily learned and may save a life!
